Capitol Illini’s referral services are an extension of the primary care of veterinarians in the Springfield, Chatham, Decatur, Bloomington and surrounding areas. We are proud of the important role we play in assisting veterinarians and provide the highest quality veterinary care for their clients and patients. We are grateful for the trust and confidence the referring veterinarians place in us and our entire staff.

For Patients:
Some of the procedures offered at Capitol Illini Veterinary Clinic are offered to your pet through the referral of your primary care veterinarian. These services are offered to your pet on an outpatient basis so there is no need to admit your pet as a client of Capitol Illini Veterinary Clinic (unless he or she is already a client). Your pet will continue to see your primary veterinarian for medical care. We believe that the primary care veterinarian’s participation is critical to the diagnosis and treatment of our referral patients and are committed to open and full communication with both the client and the referring veterinarian before and after seeing the patient.
